I currently work on my own website, the very one you are browsing right now. In addition I started another website called AEM-Tutorials where you will find plenty useful tutorials around developing in AEM soon. With my own projects I can live my passion for teaching.

AEM Consultant

Discounter

I worked as a AEM Consultant for a big German discounter. In the project I analyzed the existing code in order to suggest performance increasing actions. Also I worked on architectural concepts for connecting and integrating a new PIM and eCommerce system with AEM.

April 2018 – March 2019

AEM Developer

cyber:con GmbH

I worked as a Senior AEM Developer in a project for a German flight company. In this project I migrated a lot of components from an old platform to AEM 6.2. Simoultaniously we took the old page and made it responsive. I was also member of the technical committee to discuss and decide on global technical issues.

February 2015 – March 2018

AEM Developer

aleri Solutions GmbH

In this project I worked as a AEM Developer for a German company which produces sanitary and heating systems. It was a brand new AEM project from scratch. During the project I developed well over 60 components. Later on in the project in addition to developing in AEM I was also responsible for maintaining and developing the frontend so that I could develop components completely from frontend to backend.

I got my master’s degree in computer science at RWTH Aachen University. My major subject was software engineering. During my study I created a virtual reality project which was used as a simulator for interior design.

Bachelor of Science: Computer Science

RWTH Aachen University

I got my bachelor’s degree in computer science at RWTH Aachen University. My major subject was software engineering. I was also part of a team which built the daily dress website. The website suggests what to wear according to the current weather data in your location.

Abitur (general qualification for university entrance)

Mathemantisch-Naturwissenschaftliches Gymnasium

Back in school I was very interested in logical subjects. So my two major subjects in school were math and chemistry. My passion for coding first came to me due to my computer science class in school.
